Prepare Ginger Lemon Immunity Boost Smoothie using the measured ingredients below. Adjust the liquid and batch size to your jar's MAX line.
About 300 ml per batch
Ingredients
| fresh ginger, grated | 1 tablespoon |
| medium lemon, juiced | 1 |
| honey (or agave for vegan option) | 1 tablespoon |
| coconut water | 1/2 cup |
| unsweetened almond milk | 1/2 cup |
| ice cubes | 1/2 cup |
| turmeric (optional for added anti-inflammatory benefits) | 1/4 teaspoon |
| small banana (for creaminess) | 1/2 |
Instructions
- Measure the listed ingredients: fresh ginger, grated, medium lemon, juiced, honey (or agave for vegan option), coconut water, unsweetened almond milk, ice cubes, turmeric (optional for added anti-inflammatory benefits), small banana (for creaminess). Wash any produce, remove stones, seeds and tough peel, and chop into small pieces.
- Soak any oats, seeds or dried fruit as specified in the ingredients. Use soft, prepared ingredients; do not add whole hard nuts or frozen chunks unless your model supports them.
- Add the measured cool water, milk or other liquid to the jar first. Add the prepared fruit, vegetables and remaining ingredients. Stay below the MAX fill line and divide larger recipes into batches.
- Close the jar and lid securely. Blend using the cycle in your model's manual; stop the motor before checking texture or opening the jar. Never blend hot or carbonated liquids in a sealed jar.
- If too thick, add liquid one tablespoon at a time and blend briefly. Taste, serve immediately and clean the jar according to the manual.
